never took the rear sear apart befor what do u haft to do?

 

Two screws on the bottom front and lift...you can get to the wires going up the back w/o taking the seat backs off.

 

ok so i took it off and everything i did see a harness going through the the whole bottom of the seat than i saw a module in the middle more towards the passanger seat but i couldnt find the attena i looked for about 30mins im stuck on which wire?

 

Is this a black wire running along with a white wire???

 

Well, I've got a '96 so yours might be alittle different. My control module is on the driver side with a 12 pin connector. There is a separate black wire coming out of the module and into the wiring harness and as soon as it hits the harness it gains a plastic cover.

Hope someone with a '98.5 chimes in.

 

Its usually tucked away under the passenger's side seat. Fish around and you will find it. The module in the center of the seat is the yaw sensor, which has nothing to do with it, so leave that alone.
