Looking at buying an 2004 S4
I'm actually buying the car from a dealer / family friend. I'm picking it up for 29k, the car had one owner an older women who bought it from a local Audi dealer so all service records are available. The only reason for she sold it is she is moving across the country. It does have the remainder of the factory 4/50,000 warranty, but my dad owns a shop so as long as nothing major goes wrong all of my servicing will be done there. I don't think the car was neglected by an average owners standards. I just expect cars to be maintained to near perfection but I forget that besides us nuts most people aren't that meticulous. I put a deposit on it yesterday but here is the eBay listing It's still up for another day I believe. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RARE-...QQcmdZViewItem[/align]
I bought my car from the same dealership! Everything went pretty well, but sales guy told me over the phone that my car was in the shop getting detailed, when I showed up from NY to PA it was filty, I almost cancelled the deal, well not filty but definately not detailed, but all in all cars been great and in perfect condition.Did give me a couplehundred off to for not getting it detailed.Good Luck
i had a whining noise that turned out to be low steering fluid.
just something to check.
i know somedealers don't do a very good job checking fluid levels.
