Default Modding with Warrenty (esp. chips)

Hey I would really like any help from anyone with experience moddin their s4 under warranty. I am getting a comrehensive warrenty and the allow slight mods (cat back, intake) but no wheel size changes or front mounts or anything extreme. What I am more conerned about is chips. Can I just buy second chipped ecu and change it back to the original before srvice? Can they tell? I was wondering if any one would even notive if I had new down pipes or anything or that nature.I wonder about diverter valves and the TBB's too. Any thoughts please.

lol only a dumb person could not tell if you got new downpipes, but you could always say your old one failed and fell. i amsure you could come up with a good reason to change all parts on a car. as for the ecu change no way to know cause you take off the neg cable of the batt to change it out so it clears the car of everything. I say you will be good cause k03's also fail and k04's are direct bolt on replacement and they "look" the same to the eye till you pull the engine.

Ok is this warranty a factory warranty or an aftermarket warranty?

If it is an aftermarket warranty, and you arnt the orginial owner, then you can just say that it was like that when you bought the car.

The Revo for the B7 comes with a device that allows you to switch the chip back to stock. Not sure if B5's require an actual swap of the chip (mine is just flash software)

idk if anyone makes a ecu reflash similar to the conforti shark system available for bmw's, but I'm pretty sure its invisible to mechanics, and if they erase the flash and set it back to stock, you can reflash yourself in like 30 min.
