Is my ESP working correctly?
Hey guys,
I have an 01 S4, which I have only owned for a few months. I live in CO, and so sometimes we get snow down in the city. I have not had much opportunity to put it through the motions in the snow very much. In the little bit that I have, I am a bit confused with the ESP. It seems that the ESP does not intervene until I have already managed to put the car into a slide of some kind, and usually it does not make any correction until I have noticable oversteer. Is this functioning as it is supposed to or is it supposed to react mire aggressively at the first sign or slippage? I am not complaining, the grip is excellent, I am just wondering whether I need to have audi fix it such that it is more aggressive, and when I want to really let it slide I will just turn it off.

RE: Is my ESP working correctly?
I too live in colorado, Boulder actually, and after this snow we just had am having the same experience, so my gut says yes, that that is just how it works, It does not seem to do much in the form of snow traction control, snow is **** to drive on no matter what kind of car you have, I figured I would just get used to it.
