Well i wont be an *** but its called custom built? U dont have to always buy what people produce on the market... For example here in Birmingham we have a local guy that does custom jobs. And is very very good at it. He has done 07 Z06's to Evolutions to Corollas. Here are some pics of his work for example.

He is well known for his fabrication. If you would like more info on him and his shop PM me. He just finished this z06 from Orlando and is doin another from NY now

Wouldnt it be easier to do big turbos in a b6/b7 s4 engine bay with a 2.7t engine because the engine bay is larger?

Why downgrade engines...? And go through all the trouble and wiring? Stick with the V8 it comes with.. custom turbo. Bam.. Instead of pulling the v8.. slapping in a b5 engine... wiring it all up... then doin a custom turbo job.. and in the end probly makin less hp and spending more $$$$$$$$

thats like saying "Lets take my b5 s4 and puttin a 1.8T A4 motor in it to free up room and do a custom turbo on it" Both are great engines but u usually wanna gain cylinders not lose them.

Because I dont think its possible to turbo or twin turbo them. I could be totally wrong, but with all the research I have done and talking to my mechanic, its not really possible because of the lack of room in the engine bay. I wish and hope maybe in the futre its possible because that would make for an unbeleivable ride.

Just because there isnt room with the hood shut dont mean u cant make room.. .LIKE SO... not a b6-b7 but a B5 yes but just showing u can make room for the turbo and all

I'm still wanting someone to try this on an Audi 4.2 - http://www.ststurbo.com/

It would probably take some custom parts and some serious dyno/tuning time, but it could be one way to get more power.

people have put a s/c on the 4.2l, MTM did, and its available for the european models, but its 25 grand!!!!!!! plus id much rather have the 2.7t than the v8, a lot more potential IMO
