New to Audi with questions
Bought a 01 s4 with 128000 miles. Don't know much of the history of it but its stock. How hard is it to do the timing belt by yourself. I work on cars for fun but nothing like this. If you send it to someone what's usually the price for them to do it? I just want to be safe then sorry and have it blow.
Also what do they do to turn up the stock turbos?
What's a good exhaust but don't want anything to sound like a ricer. (Hate that sound)

the timing belt job isnt too bad, but you will have to remove the front bumper, rad support headlights, etc to get to it. i've done it twice now and its not that bad. most shops will do it for around $1200.
this is the one i use:
Audi B5 S4 2.7T > Search > Timing Belt > ES#2569854 ECS Tuning Timing Belt Kit - Ultimate Plus With Gates Racing Timing Belt - 078109119JKT3
to "turn up" the turbos you probably want to do a stage 1 tune from someone like apr, mtm, giac, asp, or unitronic. if youre on original turbos you probably dont want to push them to hard considering your at 128,000miles.
there are tons of good exhaust systems out there. borla, apr, ssautochrome, autospeed, 034, fast intentions, awe, etc. you most likely want to pair them to a nice set of down pipes or gutted stock ones.
