I didn't know Audi made the A4 in 1958?

sorry bud, but the clunking/rattling noise is a non-fixeable defect. I bought a new 2012 S4 and they repurchased the car. Even offered me a new one but all the new ones on the lot had the same problem!

Well first of all, a 2012 S4 is a completely different car than a 2005 A6. Second, anything, and I mean anything on a car can be fixed or replaced. It's just a matter of identifying the problem. Thanks for your input though.
