Lowered 03 A6 gets nervous in rear
I had it on an alignment rack and it was right on spec.
With the 19's, it was baaad, with 17's and snow tires it feels better on dry pavement but if I drive where there's a slick spot of ice, the rear is out of control. It's scary. The alignment tech said it felt like something was loose on the chassis. But we can't see or feel any loose components.
It also tracks all over the place when there are grooves cut on concrete roads that aren't perfectly straight. The front is great! Not even much bump steer.
Any insights on this problem? Should I compensate for something with an out of spec adjustment?
