Losing Boost...bad DV or PCV? UG to Forge?
I've been googling around about this P0299 error I'm getting and after another drive, I'm confident boost is well down. It seems that the stock diverter valves ("B" or "C") have pretty high failure rates. Given the mileage on the car, and reports of failures at much lower rates, I'm thinking it must be this or the PCV. If anyone has any tips for telling which one (or if it's something else altogether), without simply replacing each part, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Also, any experiences with recent Forge DVs would be great, too. I did read one neg review here:

Apparently there have been surge problems with Forge DVs?

I would probably pull and inspect the DV and do the PCV one way check valve fix. You could do the latter first if you didn't want to get dirty under the car.
I have the Forge DV and it is doing a fine job. Not sure what to think of the .3sec delay as reported in the fortitude thread? But, I'm really not too worried.
Cheers!
