1.8 chipped or mbc

An Audi is not your eclipse. Now that we have that out othe way...you cannot install a MBC and expect it to work.
The most cost effective mod for the 1.8t is to chip it. It cannot be beat. Do yourself the favor and do it right the first time. MBC is half-assing it and will probably cause more problems later on down the road. The chip adjustes your fuel curve, boost, and timing.
You cant just slap on the MBC and expect the computer to like it. Especially if you have a 2000 or later 1.8t, you'll get boost deviation codes. Yeah it'll work on a DBC car, but the DBW system with the MAP sensor ain't going to be happy.
You can find chips to buy used all the time across the internet.

Well it seems the audi is a much more complex system than the DSM 4G63, but this is what I'm drawn to. Thanks for all the help I know I have alot of questions and I dont want to come across as somebody who wants to "halfass" it trust me. This car will be one of the best built sedans in my area with plenty of class. I just need to get my MODs staged with a well laidout plan, this way I wont have to but **** twice....... JR
