im thinking about doing this mod but was wondering what kind of air filter all of you have been useing a con or just a box filter

 

K&N panel filter and no I never got a CEL

 

do you think you didnt get a cell because your chiped or does that have nuthing to do with it??

No your CEL is from something else. You nees to pull some codes to find out what the problem is.....

 

basically it probably the worst mod you can do (known to all the young kids for noise value only) first off it effects the air sensor then the MAF because its unregulated air the panel filter is better, it you want more air then add a second intake or make the intake wider, the drilled holes suck big time

 

[sm=outcold.gif] I don't understand what you are saying.....The boxmod that I did only allows the air to be drawn from the fender as well as the orignal front ram. There is no way you would be drawing 'unregulated air' because it still passes through the FACTORY MAF the same way it did from the FACTORY. The holes are only in the fender the air STILL has to pass through the panel filter and the FACTORY MAF......
