I just got my pbr ceramic brake pads on in the front.. reading that there isn't much dusting, but there's still a lot! Is there a magical number of miles that I need to put on the pads before they stop dusting or decrease the dusting?

I have them on a '99 1.8t quattro

 

they advertise low dust but i mean ... how much can you get for an extra 20 bux

 

well the brakes were also suggested by another af member (i forget who) and they claimed low dust for these break pads...so I was just wondering if it takes time to break in

 

I have had my breaks on for like 10K miles now and have noticed no decrease in break dust. I have Hawk performance pads.
