RE: Buying an A4 . . .B5 . . .1.8T vs 2.8
New owner.
2001 A4 1.8T Quattro MT w/sport package and 17" RS4 wheels. (5 of them, so nice to have full size spare)
Will post pix in new thread later today.
I have already been to Lake Tahoe twice along with a friend in a 05 WRX. Let me say that summer tires and boost don't mix well in snow on the A4. My car gets so sideways, major fun, (I love the oversteer this car has) but a little more hard to control then my friends WRX with all season tires.
So far, I LOVE the car, leaps and bounds better then my 2000 Honda Prelude as far as daily drving goes. Now I just need some dry pavement to see how she does.

Just had a peruse on the awe website... Will be getting a 99 1.8TQ Tip when I come over this month, and was wondering if their turbo upgrade kit is worth the cash? Seems cheap enough, plus cost of exhaust, and tip chip, but is it just a bag of spanners or something really worth getting??? Any replies appreciated... And currently getting all excited!
235 bhp... that would be well sweet!!!!
