Center Driveshaft Wump Wumps
I'm getting center driveshaft vibrations at higher speeds. I've already replaced all 4 drive axles, new tires (balanced), aligned at the dealer (which they also replaced my lower control arms under recall) I have about 180,000 miles on it and at about 70-90 mph or higher it vibrates alot, been doing this for about 2-3 months, what do i need to do to fix this?
Where did you get the tires at. The audi suspension is very sensitive to tire balance and roadforce issues. You dont see alot of driveshaft balance issues. Considering the driveshaft usually runs almost a few thosand dolars i would have the tires balanced and tested for roadforce with a balancer capable of measuring roadforce. If the tires check out ok you may want to look into having the driveshaft balanced. It may not even be possible on the audi shaft.

You might have bad/worn UV joints which can cause imbalance, that happend in an old rxy7 i had.
