control arm recall

it doesnt go by your VIN.. just take it to the dealer and they will check it out for free.. usually wash and vacuum your car too.. at least they did on mine.. so wait till its dirty then take it in LMAO

Anybody have a solid idea what this service action letter says?
My dealer at home told me that I need them replaced but says that I didn't have good enough service records for them to cover it. I know i'm getting screwed but I need some help to fight it.

lets think about this one.... are there any other dealers in the area.. tell your dealer to Shut The F@ck up... and your calling Audi Of America.. that will straighten him out

If you aren't having any problems, do not take it to them. You get one free inspection. If they are fine you get no other service. So save your inspection until there is something wrong.

hey i got a 1998 a4 that is clunking (and they squeek like crazy!). i think im the 3rd owner. so could i just call up the local audi dealer and say replace my control arms?? how could i tell if they are the original control arms?? the car has 127k and i have not a single service record.
