Default Grinding in the rear, Bearings Shot?

Hey guys, i have been having a pretty loud grinding noise coming from the rear passenger side wheel. I think it is my wheel bearing, but i have read that if it was a wheel bearing, it would be making a loud humming noise. I already ordered a wheel bearing kit and am wondering if their are any other problems that could possibly cause this grinding?
Oh and is their any detailed instructions available to dis assembling the rear hub?

try this raise the car, grab the suspect wheel at 9 and 3 and again at 12 and 6 and see if oyu get any play. if oyu do its definelty the wheel bearing. if not take a look under the car and shake stuff around. it may just be the wheel bearing is on it last few miles. it may also be the brakes are worn.

also spin the offending wheel and you should hear the bearing noise, bearing noise gets louder the faster you drive

alright, i jacked it up and tried shaking at 3 and 9 and 12 and 6, and there was no play. Maybe because my parking brake was on? I think it is my bearing because i only hear the grinding when making any slight or heavyright turn going over 30mph. if it was my strut mounts i would be hearing the noise constantly, right?
