You either have a malfunctioning alarm unit, or you have a bad hood/trunk/door latch.
You need a VAG COM to check for a bad latch, if you don't have one.....WHATS WRONG WITH YOU!!!??? Lol just playing take it to the dealer if you don't have one.

Its a tamper resist thing that alot of companys put in. If the voltage is to low then they just flip out. Every once in a while if your board and have no fear of shorting stuff out you can take a screw driver to the grounds close to the alarm box, theres a few that will go off for a load change as far as a 100% reason I have no clue thats just from playing around in a lab hehe.

I whould take it in for a load test it dosent take long and Autozone will do it just go where there not busy or the get pissie with ya. My secound thing is probley a short a half azzed attempt at an install with tape and some nuts probley done by a newbie taping in someware.

It makes absolutely no sense that its the battery. Think about this, if the alarm were armed and the door latch lets say malfunctions and thinks the door is open the alarm is gonna fvcking go off!!!!!!

check if any in ur area has vag com on that site. it can check evry single thing on ur car. that will check if all the door latches are good. if they all good, u need to check the wiring for ur alarm. if that's all good, u need to check for shorted wires behind the radio. if that's all good then i think u should remove that alarm and put the factory one on and see wut happens. if u don't have the factory one anymore, idk wut else to tell u lol. can't think of anymore but if i do i'll get back
