That is alot of help Dave maybe I'll do it myself. Do i have to take off the brakes at all? or the wheel straight to the axle?

I decided to do it myslef. But where can i find a CV boot kit online? i looked everywhere but it seems they dont have any for an 02 a4 quattro 3.0. or an axle?

Just to let you all know they do not make a CV Joint Kit for this year and model Audi.

When my CV boots went I decided to change out the whole cv axles. It only took a few hours, wasn't bad at all. i just followed along my Haines repair manual. My only regret is that I bought cheap cv axles and now the boots are torn again- Definately spend the extra money to get quality axles when you do the repair.
