I have them in my fogs, and I noticed a decent improvement in both colour and light output over the stock bulbs. I guess I'll see how long they last, hopefully I'm not replacing them too often.

the quality control was amazing however. They burned out within a few days of each other.
[sm=icon_rofl.gif] I couln't agree more, they really aren't worth the money.

Are there any other alternatives to silverstars for brighter lights that don't cost a lot?

yea, i have silverstars, agree on the lifespan..i had mine for a year, then they both blew...i called sylvania though to say something about the short life spana and they sent me a new set for free..which was pretty cool....i was running yellow fogs for almost 2 years, until they blew recently also...they actually improved driving visibility in fog, no doubt about it....gotta order a new pair....im going to go for the vvme 6k HID kit soon though....pretty pumped.

I have silverstars. They are VERY defined. The cutoff is like a razor. I like them, but they look yellow from the outside.

But with the addition of my new headlights,I lost fogs.

Anyone reccomend a pair of yellow or white fog lights?
