Probably a stupid question, How to change DIS
Hi
Just bought an Audi A4 TDi 1.9 Sport, 2003 plate. I must say that I love the car, feels very solid on the road. One thing that is niggling me tho is the Driver Information System. On page 44 of the manual it says I can change the display by pressing in a reset button on the wiper but there isnt a reset button (nor a button on the end of it) nor can I find one anywhere else in the car
I have the check, spanner and 0.0 buttons and the -, +, menu, buttons under the clocks but these arn't it.
The display at the moment tells me my total diesel remaining but I want to see my MPG.
Anybody help?
Thanks
Geoff

On my 02 A4 1.8TQM with winter packageI have a 2 buttons. One that looks like a light switch on the tip of the wiper control that lets me scroll up or down through the display menu and one on top pf the wiper control that lets me togle between 1st and 2nd profile. If I hold it down for 3 seconds it resets my trip info.
Just because it's in the manual doesen't mean your car has it.
If there's no button on theunderside of the wiper stalk, there's no "full feature" drivers display just the static miles remaining. I've found Audi features to be like an easter egg hunt, can't always find the ones that are documented, but often find undocumented treasures when buttons are held for more than 3 seconds. Enjoy the new ride and keep hunting.
