Default starting

Ok, today after leaving the mall my car wouldn't start all of a sudden. I decided to push the car and pop the cluth and hence it started. After i turned off the car again it wouldn't start by key. However it would with the autostart. It is not the battery, thats for sure. So what can it be?

Have you wiggled your key back and forth in the starter key cylinder? Sounds like you have a problem in there.

found out what had happened........i adjusted my steering wheel and a plug that goes to my alarm system got loose? It looked like a relay that you can unplug. Dont know what it is but i plugged it back in and now its fine.
