Default Steering Wheel

I had a question about my steering wheel. It has two +/- buttons on it, one on each side of the middle. I'm pretty sure they are for tiptronic? However, my car is a manual. Was the steering wheel just replaced with a steering wheel out of a tiptronc car? I'm pretty sure that it is used to shift, the buttons don't do anything on my car when pressed of course because it is manual. I checked an online manual and it doesn't show these buttons on the wheel. Thanks for the help in advance.

You have + AND - on BOTH sides? is that how the tiptronic wheel does it? I figured you'd have + on one side, and - on the other...

if they are stereo buttuns, for maybe tuning and volume... they would work, unless you had an aftermarket head unit
