v-tech?
Actually, vtec kinda is magical and is NOT the same thing as vvt that you guys are talking about. Variable Valve Timing for our cars and for toyotas uses electronic camshaft timing adjustments to increase or decrease the duration of the camshaft for different low/high settings. Vtech actaully has another camshaft lobe with another profile on it that is switched over to at higher rpms. Vtech is alot different from VVT, but they both have the same idea behind them.
NSTotal and Bongda are the only ones who have any idea of what VTEC is. The latest VTEC, dubbed i-VTEC by Honda, has BOTH VVT as well as different cam lobes (hence the "lift") whereby at a certain RPM the camshafts operate on another set of lobes to open the valves more and for different durations to improve engine breathing. Bash ricers and bad taste all you want, but at least understand the technology.
