WHY WONT IT WORK?
No boost gauge. How would I check my flash. I asked the guys at EVOMS if re-flashing would correct and they advised no it must be something mechanical. I had the Audi/VW specialist and The GM at EVOMS take my car for spin.. EVOMS gm is one of the coolest guys by the way. Anyway they took it for about 30 minutes trying to see if they could figure out why its doing it. NOTHING So I have an appointment to come back in 2 weeks and have wrenches taken to it and see whatthe deal is. This problem kills any excitement I get from my mods.
I have my k04 I am ready to get my FMIC and do injectors but Im not gonna do anything til this gets fixed. Now everyone here keeps saying under or overboosting what could be causing this?

Is your diverter valve adjustable or have different spring options? Perhaps the diverter valve isn't opening until the pressure gets too high. I'm only guessing here as I don't know your DV.
If it came with different springs, try using one that is one setting lower

GIAC 91 pump program and I run only 91 octane nothing less EVER!! I mean I've done everything right and have spent over $2000 replacing parts in hopes of fixing the problem. The items needed to be changed anyway but not this soon. Like I said I have a brand new Billet DV. I have a cold air intake. I have a highflow cat. I have a full catback exhaust. Im not a big automotive genius but I dont know why my car would be over or under boosting. Isnt the job of the flash and ecu to regulate that. Trust me there is no way Im underboosting after I got that secondary airpump replaced and the hose fixed she pulls and she pulls hard.I cant wait to take her to a long straightawaywith no traffic late at night and just punch it. To bad the flash will give out before I hit75. If anything it must be overboosting but I still want to understand why it would or what could cause the car to overboost? Are thre any other ways of seeing my boost without spending $300 plus on a boost guage. I mean I want one eventually but I also want coilovers and the $ spent on the boost guage will set me back. I've been moving pretty quick with this car considering I've only had it about 4 months but Im hitting snags left and right now. BUMMER
What about the wastegate? That is the actual device that controls the boost level.. (excess boost, the wastegate opens to release it)
If the wastegate was stuck closed... that would allow for the turbo to overboost.. But I honestly didnt think that the ko3 would make that much boost...
