You gotta love it.... The problem was clearly diagnosed as a TB failure with great picts and someone chimes in with a story about their fuel pump problem. If the FP problem was in it's own thread someone might actually benefit from the discussion. LOL

 

Interesting thing on the TB.
Replaced mine at 186k miles with the water pump.
Water pump had original factory seal so was never changed before.
Car is 12 years old.

The mech that did the work on mine doesn't seem to think mine had been changed before either - it had 191k when it failed

Probably would've helped had I known about it before all the work was done, lol
