so im trying to pull out my 2.7 and I would like to be able to do it the way where the transmission comes out with the engine, but, the heat shield that goes over the driveshaft will not come off! I am pretty sure that i am using right torx and it finally just stripped. How can I get these bolts off?!?! what size torx are your guys? and on top of that my heat shield has a huge crack in it. is this ok or should I replace it?

ouch that is going to be a tough one to get out. Once those bolts strip you basically need to either drill it out or give it the vise grips. Depending on which bolt it is (there are three on mine) you might be doing some cutting to get it off and the replacing it.
