recently bought a 2011 q7 which i have loved driving. i've had a number of "prestige" cars and the q7 holds up well against my jag and the bmw 7 series although i now have discovered a few issues and wonder if anyone had advice. firstly i have a dripping oil leak which i beleive is coming from between the engine and gearbox which i suspect may be a rear crank seal, can anyone give me an idea of how long and what is required to fix this and could it be "bodged" if i took it to a normal garage to get it fixed.

my second issue is a bit niggly which is the rear seat pocket net only slips accross the elasticated rope but isnt fastened to the outside, what tools do i need to take the seat back off and try to re attach the netting?

the third issue is the door seal on the rear drivers side is hanging off around the wheel arch, i cant see how this re attaches or do i need to buy another and is this something worth tackling myself or should i stick into my local garage. whats the worst that will happen if i leave it?

sorry about so may questions but having googled stuff i cant find anything that refers to the q7 specifically but cant find loads of a4 and a6 stuff so wondered if they were applicable?
