Default haldex question

What are the chances I'll wreck my Haldex if I put on a new right rear tire? I've got about 10k on the set and the right rear always wears faster than the other three. Had the alignment done and rechecked and rechecked. Never gets better. Car drives very straight.

You've got something wrong if only one is wearing. Is the car lowered? Shocks good? Do the people doing the alignment know what they are doing? What are the before/after rear Camber/Caster and toe-in values last time you had it aligned?

As for the Haldex, the recommendation is no more than 10% in rolling diameter, which on the TT would be close to 3/4" so there wouldn't be a problem otherwise.

Do you rotate your tires every 5K?

Default RE: haldex question

I just had a blown left front tire and I am replacing it with a new one of the same exact brand so I hope that will not cause any issues. The other tires are only about 2 months old and I am not replacing more than one just to have all the tires have the same wear on them.
