Help.. My new (2001) Audi has a turbo issue
this is to ur previous ? about why the boost it acting weird. You arent throwing any codes are ya?? I would say maybe a vac leak (which are sometimes hard to find) or a boost leak. I do like that you shift with the precision and fury of a greek god!! I as well, but instead, i do it with multiple tan women in the passenger seat with full C-cups.
very nice, Ha...
I agree it could be a leak but I'm at odds with the idea because it doesn't ALWAYS happen. And it boosts to 15 psi before leaking off... That in no way rules the idea out though.
Since the car is no longer running it is now at my handy (also Greek god like) Porsche mechanic's shop and I will know this coming week what is wrong (I hope)
Brief 1 week history:
Last Saturday I purchased this TT and drove it from Houston Texas to Galviston Texas. On the way it ran out of gas because the analog gas gauge is about 20-25% off of correct. (Since then I have discovered that the "Miles till' empty" digital gauge is correct) So i had to call roadside assistance to come and give me gas.
I got the car home here in NW Arkansas (Fayetteville) and on Monday it was keyed in a parking lot.
Wednesday, a man backed into the fron of it with his Ford F150 (did a nice bit of damage)
Friday I had a blowout (rear passanger wheel was rubbing inside fender well) are we supposed to have spacers on our rear tires? While removing the tire I discovered that it was already missing a lug and another lug had been cross threaded (damaged my back and ruined the hole getting it out) but was able to mount the spare with three lugs and get it home.
Saturday (yesterday) I got in it to leave and the bugger won't start and is now at the shop.
I have had the car for a week and one morning now... What else bad can I look forward to?? HAHA

That sounds like me when i first got mine. Someone during the summer put sunscreen on my hood in the shape of a "johnson". Took me almost a month to get it outta my paint because everytime youd see it coming down the road, or if it got dirty, that one area kept that damn drawing on it, or if it rained, that area stayed dry hahah
Also my gas gauge is the same way. I purposley ran out of gas in front of a mall just to see if the gauge was correct(which it wasnt) I jsut make sure to follow the screen readout and it done its job haha
