I didnt know GIAC had an upgrade. That would be so awesome!! Let us know

 

Giac makes the Del Rio sw that uses a gt2871r .86. The spool should be about the same (but with amore power). Believe it uses 550's at 4 bar. Going with that should save you about $500 (thats counting the upgrade vs swapping sw).

As for those intakes, they are decent for the stock turbo and no where near enough for a larger turbo. Sure they look ok, but not worth losing 15whp or so.

 

How much powere are you talking about?

 

People with that del rio kit (which comes with an intake manifold) are only making about 300-310whp on pump (thats a 225 done in fwd). Add in a elim and im not sure if it will be any better not to mention w/o an intake manifold. Search up M this 1! on vortex and you will see what i mean.

 

no doubt im also considering using atps mika software, but im thinking that i shouldn't, i am not sold on it, especialy when there are far more greater choices to make, let me know what you think.

 

avoid MIKA like the pleage!! Its a sub par sw on the same level if not lower than eip and upsolute.
