hi all, had a bit of an ongoing problem with my 1996 2.6 v6 auto box(i think) for a while. symptoms are as follow.... from cold it is great, quick, good gearchanges etc.
as soon as it gets warm after a motorway trip its very slow accelerating, holds in the gears for longer than normal and generally inconsistent. any one had anything similar? might it just need a gearbox oil change? is there a seperate brain for the gearbox gubbins that could be at fault?
any suggestions gratefully recd. thanks in advance.
