Hi guysm, the AC fan on my 1999 (APT) 1.8se does not come on at all although the air con works fine whilst driving but I noticed one of the air con pipes become quite hot when stationery.

Any ideas where the fuse is for this fan and the best way to test the fan with a direct power supply? Dont want to go buy a new fan if its something else like a fan switch etc.

The fan is behind the glove box, so take that out or swing it down and test voltage at the blower. Besides that you should have a VAG COM www.ross-tech.com and check the fault codes in the a/c control head.
