another think to check as much as odd as it seems is the coolant temp sensor, i have seen them go bad and give insane readings like -276 degrees F, and in that situation the engine will dump too much fuel and it wont start. i havent seen many like this but it did personaly happen to me. also to check the crank sensor you would need a lab-scope which can be rather expencive. if you live anywhere near the cleveland area i have one that i could check the crank sensor with for you but if that were bad i dont think it would be giving you spark or fuel, when the cam or crank sensors go bad on these the computer cuts the spark and fuel because it has not refferance on when to pulse the the fuel injectors or fire the spark.

haha yea... if it is the crank sensor you can check the continuity of it with a Ohm meter... just put the positive lead to one of the pins on the sensor and the other ground lead to the other pin and if u get a reading on the ohm meter then the sensor is working. but make sure when you check the crank sensor its disconected from the car.

Default Dumb mistake

Well everyone I found out my issue... I am kicking myself in the *** for this right now. After I had finished the timing belt job, I started the car up and it started fine. I let it run for a couple seconds and then shut it off. I haven't started the car successfully until then. Today I was fiddling with the car trying to figure out why it wouldn't start. Out of curiosity, I pulled off the toothed belt covers, and to my dismay, I found that the belt was almost ripped to shreds but was still in one piece. So I took everything off to take a look and found that I put the toothed idling pulley on backwards and caused the belt to partially come off the pulley. I'm so mad at myself right now. But anyways, I would like to know how you put the cams in the correct position when they go out of time like this? Do I need to pull the valve cover off and check visually?
This is what happened to the belt...

Yeah... I tested the crank sensor before I found the belt issue and it checked out okay. Thanks for the help guys.
