just a question about headlights. I have a 98 A4 1.8t QTR and am looking for a brighter set of headlights. They currently have the 12v H7-55w halogen bulbs. </P>


What wattage can i safely go up to without frying the wiring and circuitry? Also, would i needto change the hi-beam bulb too?</P>


Anyone with any suggestionsfor a bulb with a blue tinge to it? Lookingfor that bright white-blue look. Thanx.</P>

Buy a set of projector headlights. A common upgrade is to buy the Euro projectors for around $300. There is some slight modifications to make but they work very well - and look sweet. They work much better than the stock halogens of your model year. Go to www.ecstuning.com</P>

The stock headlights are not really that good and its hard to make them brighter or better.</P>
