here is the bulb specs:[*]Nokya H7 Light Bulb, Color: Arctic Purple (8,500K), Output: 12V100W[*][*].[*]

Thanks,

Anthony

Not sure if I would. Most cars have 35w bulbs in the fog harnesses, and people putting in 100w bulbs were melting the wiring harnesses. Being that the Audi uses (at least on my car) 55w H7 bulbs, it might be OK to upgrade to 100w, but personally I wouldn't do it. That's still almost twice the OEM bulb wattage, and you may run the risk of melting the harnesses or even a fire.

i would pay 80 bux and get a HID kit man. unless you don't like vvme i don't have any other suggestions but to not use those. and not only will the bulb melt the wiring but possibly melt the plastic around it because the higher wattage you go, the hotter the bulb gets and almost 2x more wttage than regular bulb could do it.

I melted the sh*t out of the lenses on another car by doing just this. 55w to 110w fog bulbs. the lenses discolored, then got toasty brown spots. after 3-4 weeks, it was obvious where they had distorted the lenses from heat. I pulled them, and the softer plastic that makes up the rear of the housings was "drooped" across the top top where the heat had softened the entire housing shell.

IMHO, don't do it. stick with the proper wattage, OR get a HID conversion, which generates LESS heat than a 55w bulb.

hope it helps,
Ryan
