Heater doesn't work
Sounds alot like a heater core but typically a blocked heater core will give off no heat. When you turn the fan to full power does it blow as much air as it use too? Also what have you done lately? A cooling flush or anything?
I just bought the car. It is warm when the fan is al-away down but when i turn up the fan its cool. It had a new heater core put in last year and a new thermostat. Should i flush the coolant system? Or is it the climate control?
I bet its the heater core. When mine was clogged, I got some heat at first then it would go away and be all cold. The hoses and everything were hot, just no heat was coming out.
Its expensive at the dealer. (Around $1000)
Don- I also had the heater core replaced a year ago from the dealer, and when it came to turn the heat on again when it got cold about a month ago there was no heat again. So, they replaced it again for free. Just FYI, so don't rule out the possibility that it could be the heater core again.

Bleed your system. There is a bleeder hole on the heater core hose. Pull the hose back until the hole is exposed. Then unbolt the coolant tank and hold it as high as you can. Continue holding it there until coolant shoots out the hole in a STEADY stream without gurgling. Bolt the coolant tank back down and do the same thing using the bleeder screw on the front of the engine.
If this doesn't work, flush out your heater core by hooking a garden hose up to its input, then its output. And refill the system.

you have an airpocket. see my reply above. I would be anything that if you put the car in neutral, then increase engine speed to 5000 RPM that the heat suddenly changes from cold to warm.
I just got my heater fixed. Previous owner used a product design to seal radiators from inside the cooling system and clogged the heater core. After a 1k got it fix. It could be a clogged heater core or control flap door stock.
