yea to be honest when i finally had it all back together and done i was scared to even try to start it.. but it started right up first try =]. i was shocked! (great feeling of success) it was a little loud at firstbut i remember
reading somewhere that you have to drive anew built motor/ or head about 10 miles to get the oil ran threw every litte spot and hole, after 5 miles you couldnt even hear it run its so quiet. =] its still super quiet. sometimes when im sitting in my car and i forget if i started and have to look at the RPM'S lolz.

they are cams and lifters from a 2.0 tsi VW motor.
the tsi's are also 20 valve so i kinda just threw them in hoping they would work and they do... but idk if they made the car any faster??? because i bought it not running so i never got to drive it till after the head rebuild.. but i drove a stock 1.8 a4 quattro like mine and it felt faster =[=[. So im not sure if i need to set basic setting ?? or maybe it is ( i think y'all call it "limp" mode were it limits 5 psi..) idk what it is BUT also on the dissasembly one of the 3 bolts in the turbo broke off in the turbo =[ which means i do have an exhaust leak, but i have another ko3 to put in and a test pipe.. i just have to find the time to do all that.
but i was also wondering maybe because of the different cams it might just need a tune??? idk.. i still dont know A LOT about these cars.

i replaced my cams and lifters because the cams and lifters in my motor had EXTREME EXCESSIVE WEAR! (from lots of high RPM driving ) like craking and chips missing on the lobs. and the cams and lifter i put in only had 7k miles on them.
