Default Need Help, Working On Rear Wheel Bearings

Alright so I went to remove my rear wheel bearings... The problem is http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2mwe443&s=5 here, when i try to remove this bolt... It will turn until I get to the nylon locker and it makes the whole thing (the nut and the threads) turn.. There is no backside of the bolt to hold. I read another writeup and they said to "clamp it". Well i tried putting a clamp that compressed horizontally, I could get it fairly tight (not reallly tight becuase the clamp wanted to slide off), but the threads still spun. Its too round to just clamp the bolt I think.. Any ideas?? Thanks Pre 99 A4 Quattro

EDIT: Also tried impact wrench, not working either, i thought it might come off if I could spin it fast enough.

I just removed the linkage where it connects to the frame and take that whole arm out, it's much easier. Just make sure to mark where the bolt lines up before you remove it cause that is what aligns your wheel.

I was thinking of doing that, the problem is the nut came off until it reached the nylon locker, so now if i try and tighten it it will spin... So if i took it off on the the other side, that would leave me with a problem when I go to reassemble.. Id rather not replace it but maybe I will have to.
