Need some general feedback had my A4 for about a year and a half now and the clutch has finally decided to go bye-bye. Now I love my A4 however it seems I'm going to get raped on the clutch job and I just don't have that kind of money to spend on the labor costs. (quotes from $1000-$1300) so I was hoping if anyone in the NYC area knows any shops that are fairly cheap if not I'm afraid I might have to post the car up for sale.

You could just do the clutch job yourself to save some money. Good learning experience too.

 

There's a guy in Queens (LIC) who's pretty reasonable. He did mine 2 years ago. this guy has been working on VWs and Audis for years.

U can't give up a car because of a clutch tho.

 

^ Agreed. The only reason you throw away a car due to the clutch is if it's a Civic.
