New codes found after vag-com scan =x
I came across some new codes, was wondering what could have caused them.

First of all, in order to make sure that these are not old codes, delete them and then go for a ride and make a new scan after.
17887 - Brake Boost Vacuum System: Mechanical Failure
This is what Ross-Tech says:
Possible Causes
* Fuse(s) faulty
o if the blade wheel (rotor) in the vacuum pump is stuck, most probably a fuse will burn
* Hoses from/to Brake Boost Vacuum Pump faulty
* Brake Boost Vacuum Pump faulty
o the blade wheel (rotor) in the vacuum pump is stuck
Check the vacuum lines near the brake booster or for other obvious issues you may see there.
Someone, on another forum, says: "The servo vac pipe has a t piece with one way valve. Check the one way valve by blowing and sucking. It is designed to maintain vacuum so you should be able to suck from the servo end but not blow."
16795 - Secondary Air Injection System: Incorrect Flow Detected
There is a chance you might have a vacuum leak in the secondary air pump system. Check the hoses that are around the secondary air system.
18032 - MIL Request Signal Active (Check TCM for errors too!)
This is what Ross-Tech says:
Possible Causes
* Fault Codes stored in Transmission Control Module
You should check for error codes in other modules.
18010 - Power Supply Terminal 30: Voltage too Low
Can't help you on that.

The TCM gave off the "incorrect gear ratio" before i got my tranny replaced, would'nt go into forth gear as it would kick bakck down to 3rd,so that didn't come back either.
These vacuum lines, isn't there 4 on the 1.8T ? if so,could someone post a picture of all 4 lines, that i need to inspect for holes and damage, please???
what i need is some sort of legend, that shows the entire engine bay, with arrows pointing to each component, with its name high lighted,so i know what part is what from that point on,anyone have such a chart or legend that i can be linked too?
Thanks for responding friend
Yes,i found the Bentley pdf, under the "f.a.q" sticky, labeled "B5 Assembly Manual and Torque Specs" download the zip, extract and open with acrobat reader.
