Default Odd 98 2.8 MAF question...

So I replaced my faulty ignition switch, then I started to get 2 intermittent reoccuring codes (I think they are just a coincidence):
P1602 and P1129.

Anyway, pretty sure P1129 is my O2 sensor, but just to be sure I unplugged my MAF and took my VAG with me in case I went into limp mode....I just drove over 100 miles with my MAF unplugged and have NO CODES??? Is that normal? Shouldn't it have thrown a code by now??

Thanks guys...
Marky

1129 is bank 2 (driver side) too rich - long term fuel trim. 1602 is voltage too low at terminal 30 (that's a switched output terminal on the ignition switch). I'm betting that was left over, but basically it's a crap code and not a worry.

Try plugging in the MAF again with the codes cleared and see what comes back.

What's up Devil?? It's been awhile....BTW my heat is STILL FUBAR!! I'm gonna chime in on the other post as soon as I write this one....

Was just wondering WHY my car didn't throw a code with the MAF unplugged?

As far as the P1602 and P1129 (o2 sensor drivers side, B2, S1 I think?), it's thrown both the same codes the last 4 times.....I thought too that the p1602 was cuz I unplugged the batterie to put switch in, but it keeps coming back...

BTW, I've been WAITING for it to throw a code because of the following WEIRD scenario:

It idles rough sometimes, bounces 2-500rpms, and hesitates at low rpms and does the follwing as well:

temperature outside doesn't matter; car starts flawlessly every day, if I turn it off and start it within 3 hours, starts flawlessly...BUT, and here it is, if I leave it sit between 4-5 hours and try to start it, it tries, but takes FOREVER to start....turns over, tries to start, almost does, then takes it awhile...I've tried holding down the gas pedal to see if that would help, but it doesn't.....any ideas??
