so i have had my audi now for about 4 months and no real problems with it. I have to change the valve cover gaskets (again) but other than that i put 10k on it and all i did so far was 2 oil changes and put new front pads and rotors on it and i just bought 2 used wheels and put 2 front tires on it last week. i am getting bored with the automatic tranny and i never use the tiptronic feature anyway. so it dawned on me, why not see if its possible to do a 5/6-speed swap? i think i read somewhere it isnt possible but i dont know if thats true or not. i would really love this car a lot more and it would justify a reason for a superchrager in the future as well

 

anything is possible.. but is it worth the money? you are better off selling the car and getting one that already is a manual.

 

Yeah, and the earlier the better cus that way u will have less money invested in this car

its definately possible, it would just take a loooot of work, as well as gutting a lot of computerized things to make it work.

Yes you can. If you swap in a B5 S4 6 speed you will need to change all of the driveline parts not just the transmission.
