Look at you, what does a 600 post noob know.
I just noticed something,it seems that the people here with a high post count, tend to think they are better or more knowlegable than somone with a smaller post count, now i know why all the members was high post counts, that troll all the time, its just so their post count climbs.

I do see members that don't troll, with high post counts but that is far and inbetween, most members on this forum, learned by reading more knowlegable member's posts and simply regurgated it,once someone else asked the same question down the line.

I am not saying anything is wrong with this,it is how people learn, its just the way a lot of these members with high post counts, come off to people that have posts under 1000,talking down to them and trolling their posts, for trying to learn, the same way they did, when their post count was 1.

I'm not going to say names, they know who they are and will most likely respond in a nagative way to this post.

That is true of most forums. I've been wrenching on cars for over 20 years. My post count is only a little over 50 posts. I've owned 60+ cars and most of them have been German. The only reason I come on these forums is to find out some of the nuances for specific cars, not to deal with common problems. Every car has its own character these forums are a great place to find out more about them. What I find funny is that everyone on every forum I belong to talks about how much their cars cost to maintain and complain about this and that going wrong. What they don't seem to understand is that those same part go on every other 10 year old car with 100k miles. They seem to think that their make/model is less reliable than other cars on the road. In my 20+ years I have found Audi/VW to be some of the most reliable and economical cars to own. You'd never be able to tell by reading this forum. However these cares are only economical if you can fix it yourself. If you have to go to the dealer for everything then yes, this car is going to cost more to maintain than a Chevy Impala.

Not all NOOBs to this forum are NOOBs to wrenching on cars. Never judge a book by its cover.
