If it's a walmart everstart battery then there should be a blue sticker (maybe on the side) that has the manufacture date. All batteries have this- unless taken off. I've had a walmart battery for a couple years without any problems. Just because it's a walmart battery doesn't mean it has less cranking amps than any other battery intended for your car. It could still be the battery, though. Rule it out before buying anything. You can have it load tested at Autozone. I'd do that first.

I have a starter for sale if your car is a manual. Beats paying a few hundred anywhere else.

Yeah that is very weak. Get your battery tested at autozone. You could also have a weak ground. I'd check the battery to chasis ground. Well, don't just look at it, remove it and clean it and your terminals with a wire brush. While you're at it have your alternator tested as well. It may not be able to fully charge the battery. Autozone can test the alt. or you can unplug your neg. terminal on the bat. and wait about 5 mins. to see if the alternator can keep the engine running.

Why dont u just drive to a autozone/advanced auto/ or similar and have them test the battery real quick and stop guessing?
