My sons 96 A4 Quattro has a compact spare tire and rim in the trunk that looks like someone drove on with 10 Lbs of air in it, and the steel belts are sticking out of it all over the place. Surprisingly it still holds air. Will a full size 16" aluminum wheel and 205/55/16 inch tire fit in the spare tire well, or do i need to get another donut setup to replace it with. The donuts cost more than an aluminum wheel and we have a matching full size tire to mount on the wheel.

 

A full size will fit. When I go to autox I always throw a full size back there incase I blow one I can do a quick swap and still compete!
