i recently blew my engine. its a audi a4 1998 2.8L engine manual. the big question though is. does it matter what vin number they have and does it matter the year of the engine if id swap a used one into my audi??. mainly im just looking for a 2.8L that fits my audi. but im in doubt if any 2.8L would fit my 1998 audi a4 relevant to my model?...help please!

 

You have an AHA engine code 2.8L, 30v, drive by cable engine. Get one of those and you're good to go.
