Replacement is EASY! You just remove the plastic end cap on the blade and bend the little metal tab that releases the rubber part. Slide in rubber of your choice and cut to length.

The blades that came with mine were used and so I just replaced the rubber bit with PIAA silicone blades from Tire Rack. PIAA Super Silicone Wiper Blade Refill

Edit: Here's the refill procedure if you're interested. http://www.passatworld.com/forums/61...dure-pics.html

Replaced a fog light bulb and a headlight bulb in the snow tonight. I also gave up trying to find a replacement key fob for my 96 and decided to upgrade the remote unit with a viper aftermarket one. Hopefully gonna tackle it this weekend if it stays above 30 degrees or so. And on the home front, the wife and I made an offer on a house with a massive 2 car garage. Oh the possibilties.

Living in the PNW you have to have good wipers and these have outlasted and outperformed all others that I've used. I always marvel at other people on the freeway with their wipers going full tilt and I'm still in the intermittent settings. They wipe that well.

Last night I finished the install of my new Zeitronix wideband kit... by installing the oxygen sensor into an Innovate Motorsport heatsink bung extender hopefully this wideband kit will allow the sensors to last more than 50 miles unlike my old Innovate Motorsport MTX-L kit. And yes, I have the sensor right after the turbo in the narrowband sensor location (my car has a cat just 2inches after that...).

Swapped the "intermediate" Taillights off my 99 A4 and installed S4 facelift tails. Much happier with the look.

Any 96/97 guys want to ditch your "egg yolk" tails and pick up a cheap pair of red/clear tails?
