What did you do to your B5 today?
you have a picture of new tails?
Flushed PS fluid and re-clamped the hose connections at the cooler in front of the radiator to fix a leak.
From reading various DIY descriptions here, in my Chilton's, and at Blauparts.com, I expected the bleed process to go pretty fast, but turning lock-to-lock a bunch of times while monitoring and topping fluid level didn't get it there right away. The pump was screaming and foam was being ejected from the cap weep hole. Some of the foam had enough velocity to make it onto the garage floor 5 feet in front of the car.
Ended up having to do the bleed process several times with the engine off for 5-10 minutes between. As near as I can surmise, this gave the air in the fluid time at rest to eventually get out. Each time, the pump got a little quieter and the foam and tiny air bubbles in the reservoir fluid were reduced.

Picked mine up from a dealer 40 miles from home after losing my noisy wheel bearing at 100+ MPH last wednesday. Scared the **** out of me. But not as bad as the bill when I got there. I was going to try and nurse it home, but the wheel started to shake so I got off the autobahn and found a dealer, drove it too far and destroyed the whole hub and bearing housing. Those were the expensive parts. 1100€, but I did get my car washed and detailed for free. And they replaced a brake bulb free too.
Finished installing front driver side axle and the catalytic converters on both sides of my '98 2.8Q (both flex joints were leaking after 140K+ miles). Received a $900 quote to weld in new cats - um, no thanks. I guess other option may have been to weld in new flex joints only, but I didn't pursue. Found replacement cats (the whole front section from the engine to behind the cats) for $172 each with free shipping from Exhaust Distribution (they sell on eBay, but I bought direct from their website). Turns out they're made in Canada by Eastern Catalytic and comes with 5 year / 50K mi warranty. Great fit, no modification needed and quality seems legit so far after a couple of hundred miles - at least no codes thrown by the O2 sensors (ended up replacing one of the rear ones that was original to the car while I was down there). After considering the $200/pair offer I received for the old cats from converterguys.com, the net cost was less than $150 plus some elbow grease, $8 x 2 for the new sleeves connecting the new front section to the existing catback pipes (all bolts were rusted and broke off or had to be cut and the clamps were pretty much done), and $35 for new O2 sensor (cheapo non-Bosch that seems to be working... so far). Anyway, $900 my a$$. A little finicky, but not at all a complicated procedure. No noticeable change in sound, power or gas mileage. The only drawback I would say is that now I'm very tempted to replace the catback system as well to have a completely new exhaust from end to end...
