Nice! Good price for all that. Go with the Geomet A8 rotors on ECS, they have sales occasionally when you can get them for less than $100/set.

Got a chance to use the new Bosch Icon wipers in the rain the other day, NIGHT AND DAY difference between the Rain-x blades. Never going back.

maybe a couple days late but i changed my front control arms with the fcp kit along with complete tie rods. i'm not sold on the qulaity, but for the price i cant complain. the car steers much more acuartely now and got rid of a nice shake i had at 60mph.

one thing that pissed me off is the one inner tie rod i got from them had the threads all rusty and deformed, but it was brand new???

called fcp and they are sending out a new one for me. after that goes in i'll get an alignment and the front wheels balanced. should be a smooth machine after that. then maybe in a few weeks i'll do rear control arm bushings

This is on my list for this spring. Also doing shocks all around and rear sway bar links. Hopefully I have better luck with the FCP stuff!

Yeah, I was pretty stoked to find that deal on ebay no less. Are the TT calipers the same as the A4 calipers? Obviously they will bolt up to carriers, but I'm thinking of doing some painting before the install and it would be easier to paint while off of the car.

Decided not to go with the aero wipers then? I had the Icons before the Passat aero setup and love the aero setup.

The TT calipers are visually different than A4 calipers, but I'm pretty sure its just an updated single piston design. Shouldn't be much in the way of performance difference.

Didn't really decide against the aero wipers, but I was in autozone buying car wash soap and remembered that i needed new wipers, so I just picked up some Bosch Icons. Very happy with them so far.

You're correct, brake parts are a lot easier to paint off the car. I used black rattle can brake paint from Autozone and have been very happy with it. Next time I do my brakes I think I'm going to go with silver or blue or something, the black is a little bit boring. I was going for "subtle", but now i'm just bored with it lol

I replaced my CA and TRE with FCP Groton about 2 and a half years ago... No complaints on quality so far. Rest easy, my friend.

I'm going to go with the G2 2-part caliper paint and I'll rattle can the rotor hats to keep them from rusting. I think I'll most likely go with a "boring" color for the calipers. Red and yellow usually look good but also a little ostentatious for a pseudo grown-up working as a teacher.

I've been looking at rotors on ECS and they do have a pair for less than $90 but shipping is a killer $38 for a total of $125
Audi B5 A4 Quattro V6 30v > Braking > Big Brake OEM > ES#2535446 Front Brake Rotors - Pair (312x25) - 8E0698301RKT3

FCP seems to have the same rotors for slightly more ($94 for the pair), but FREE shipping.

Yeah I waited until the rotors were on sale with free shipping, got the slotted version for $99 IIRC. In addition to ECS and FCP I would also check out MJM Auto Haus. They usually have pretty good prices as long as the stuff is in stock.
