clutch problem

Default clutch problem

I ordered a oem replacment from advance autoparts the disk is unsprung i also have a stage 2 unsprung should i use one of these?

Oh ya im planing on apr 1+ tune and supporting mods in the next two months

unpsrung wont matter much as you have a dual mass flywheel. it is meant to aborb the vibraton instead of the disk itself. feel free to use either, but i would use oem, unless your stage 2 is a brand name like sachs. if its ebay, id pass

Thanks for the info i thought the same i just wanted to be sure im going with the oem the stage two feels very cheap on the friction disk compared to the oem. Thanks for the reply.

Not a good idea to throw a different disk in with the stock pressure plate since the disk could be of a different thickness. If it is too thin the PP might not clamp down on it enough and ending up with less clamping load and even a shorter life span. If it is too thick the disk might not release completely causing problems of getting into gear.
